Faith Passages 8:00 a.m. in room 103/104, facilitated by Mary Jane Dearmin
Faith Passages continues in-dept studies of the Bible. All are invited and are welcome to come and share, and grow in their faith.
SOKs 9:15 a.m. in room 101/102, facilitated by Peggy Busacca This is a women's Bible study class that also serves as a support group and has social events. (SOKs means "Suntree's Older Kids".
Empty Nest 9:15 a.m. in the dining room for cookies, 9:30 a.m. class begins, facilitated by John Nelson Class president: Dolores Harvell All the lessons in this class are broad-based within historical context. Scripture is looked at from a point of view which offers something new and topical. Members translate their faith into willing hands for service to church ministries and community outreach. Everyone is invited to join for lessons, social fellowship, cookies and coffee. At various times there are also potluck suppers, outings, and celebrations for birthdays and anniversaries.
Bible Study for Parents 9:30 a.m. in room 108, facilitated by Bruce Barton This class is for parents with young children. Bible studies vary, focused on a parent as mentor, equipping children to grow in healthy ways.
New Covenant 9:30 a.m. in room 109, facilitated by Al Dandrea This class explores the broader picture of how Christianity relates to the rest of the world. The study focuses on history and events that shape today's practice of Christianity. The typical form of presentation is by a video teaching series or documentary, accompanied by related class discussions.
Acts 29 11:00 a.m. in room 109, facilitated by Lowell McKay Teaching is rotated among those in class who wish to teach. Curriculum varies according to the interests of the class. "We are a very friendly group who take time for prayer, and sharing, as well as the teaching."
Faith & Fellowship 11:00 a.m. in room 103/104, facilitated by Carl Johnson & Warren Seekins This class is made up of both singles and couples who enjoy a variety of studies ranging from Christian books to specific biblical studies. Teachers may rotate and there is plenty of class participation and humor.
SUMC Singles 11:00 a.m. in room 108, facilitated by Kathie Jolly The Singles Sunday School Ministry enjoys studying the Bible and self-help books on how to be a Christian in today's world. They also enjoy many activities outside the class together. Couples, dating or married, are welcome also. Join in for friendship, knowledge and fun.
