Through our adult and senior-adult ministries you can learn, have fun, enjoy life with friends, and serve one another - all at the same time. Sound too good to be true? We invite you to come, get involved, and experience what it is like to be followers of Jesus. TNT Senior FellowshipTNT stands for "Time & Talent"; it's a senior fellowship that meets for lunch and a program on the fourth Friday of most months. Registration and fellowship begins at 11:00 a.m., lunch is at 11:30, and entertainment soon follows. TNT also plans exciting trips throughout the year. TNT is open to all church and community residents. JOURNEY's Dinner & ClassEach fall and winter Wednesday nights are an evening of food, fellowship, and furthering our spiritual walk through classes that are aimed at feeding the soul. Dinner includes salad, entree, sides, drinks and dessert for $6/person or the whole family for just $20. The Early Bird Dinner begins at 5:00 p.m., followed by the "Over 50 Fellowship" Class, facilitated by Pastor Clarence Van Ens and Rev. Stan Larson. A second dinner seating begins at 5:45 p.m. with classes starting at 6:45 p.m. Classes are listed in the Course Catalog. United Methodist Women (UMW)
The purpose of UMW remains essentially the same as it was over 100 years ago - mission! The ministry focuses on spiritual growth, social action, education, and outreach, especially for women, children and youth. In addition to the meetings, UMW sponsors events and has a book review club. The Dorcas CircleLydia Circle are part of UMW, as is the Creative Christian Crafters. and the United Methodist Men (UMM)Look on the calendar for their dinners! Generally the men get together monthly for dinner and a program. They are also support many of our church initiatives through their time and talents! |
