Congregational Care is a relational ministry which includes the following areas: HEALTH & WELLNESS: This ministry primarily concentrates on educational seminars given by professional church members, or resources in the community who may have information beneficial to our members. Seminars are usually scheduled in the afternoon, and consist of an informational talk, with a question-and-answer period afterwards. They happen several times a year, and all are welcome to attend. Also included in this Ministry is a Thursday Yoga class taught by an experienced volunteer instructor who is also a church member. COUNSELING REFERRALS: Church members and their families are referred, upon request, to an experienced, clinically-trained faith-based counselor in the community, regarding such issues as depression, grief, anxiety, relational problems, and personal growthFOOD PANTRY: Funded by the Missions Ministry, Congregational Care maintains and disburses food to needy church members and any needy person in the community as well. It is a small pantry, meant to supply a few days’ worth of nutritional sustenance.
