SUMW’S FOOD & FAITH MISSION STUDY: Food is a gift from God Who created us to enjoy food.  In our culture, we often take food for granted, eating too much and too fast and doing other things while eating. We select the wrong foods which fail to give us proper nourishment as God intended. To many, food is the enemy-a cruel addiction that must be overcome. Addressing these issues, Suntree UM Women present this study on March 15 & 29 (2 sessions)
10 am to 12:30 pm, Rm. 101/102. Free! Study books/$7.Contacts: Pat Phillips (255-8374) or Ann McCandless (253-6243). Join us as we explore how we are nurtured by food and all the ways food touches our lives.

MISSION BOX: March donations will be for the P.E.T. (Personal energy transportation) project. Many persons have had legs or feet lost because of land mines, grenades, etc. These carts made of wood with large wheels allow a person to get out of muddy or sandy soil by using their arms, permitting them to manage tasks which they have not been able to do. For only $250, one of these items can mean new life for a disabled, injured person.
