Request the Facility

Facility use must be approved in advance.  To request use of the facility, submit a Facility Use Request form to the church office.  Please read the Facility Use Policy before doing so. Wait for a confirmation before advertising your meeting.

Childcare

Arrangements can be made available for childcare at ministry events if the request is made at least two weeks in advance.  Policy dictates a minimum of two (2) screened adults for a minimum of two (2) hours for any childcare request made.  Information required: date, time, number of children expected, and their ages.  It is the responsibility of those requesting childcare to contact the childcare coordinator with any cancellations at least 24 hours before the scheduled event. For any childcare requests please download the following form and fill it out completely. Your request for childcare will not be confirmed until you have heard back from Dori von Lunen. Facility Issues

A maintenance report is required to notify staff of any problems, including broken equipment, damage, or equipment malfunction.

Sound

If you need a sound technician at your event, contact the head Sound Tech at Soundtech@SuntreeUMC.org.  This would include help with microphones, video, DVD, PowerPoint, overhead projectors, etc.  Based on your needs, the presence of a tech may be required.  NOTE: Sound, lighting, and video equipment cannot leave the campus without the express permission of the Sound Technician.

Kitchen

To use the kitchen, a facility request form must be filled out in advance.  If it is your first time using the kitchen, schedule an orientation with the facilities department to learn how to use the equipment.  All groups using the kitchen are responsible for cleaning up after an event.  This includes dishes, utensils, equipment, laundering table clothes, etc.  If your group plans to use a large quantity of church paper and/or plastic product, notify the kitchen manager to place an order.

Equipment/Furniture

To borrow tables, chairs, etc., contact the facilities department to check on their availability and to sign the items out.  All items must be returned clean, in good condition, and within 48-hours.
